Default CONVERTIBLE PLANES I - HIGH ROAD....

1. I designed and tested this unconventional convertible RC aircraft. (see "Model aviation" magazine March, 2009).
I used "Tower Trainer 40" and parafoil "Seabreeze, as base for my aircraft. Transforming plane into an paraglider takes few minutes.
A conversion oppening wide way for creation new aircrafts with widest possibilities for entusiastes. (Therefore it using in military aviation).
2. ABOUT ACS. So, it is known, that during take-off run parafoil occillates, that brings to collapse. I used Anti-Collapse System (ACS), that I invented (I have patent). The ACS eliminates the parafoil's collapse, espicially during take-off. This system also allows the paraglider to maintain direction during a take-off run.
ACS contents two carbon tubes. Lower ends fastening on the fuselage and on upper endsfastening plastic tubes L=1"
On the carbon rod fastening two T-couplings; rod put into loops of parafoil and "free" ends of T-couplings put into plastic tube. When during take-off run parafoil became steady shape parafoil "lost" contact with plastic tubes and paraglider is in air...
3. Specification. Parafoil - Seabreeze 62"x24",
Number of cells - 18;
Engine - OS.40
GW - 3 lbs;
Radio -4 ch;
4. NOTE. Right now I tested anathe convertible electric plane "Russian Duck" w/ two brushlees motors: one on the front, other - on the back.
"Russian Duck can be used as convential plane, as paraglider (w/parafoil Seabreeze) and even as VTOL. There have mounted reverse Thrust System (RTS), which allowsless landing distance.
I was tested this plane too.
