Default Looking to get into 4D....

I have a 14oz foamie that I'm wanting to use a V-pitch prop on. Can anyone enlighten me on a system that would work with this?

I'm not sure the Electrifly or E-flight VP props will work. The motor I'm using is a 155 watt motor, and it's swinging an 11x4.7 prop right now. I was thinking of using this system: http://www.maxxprod.com/mpi/mpi-29a.html They have systems for my Himax HC2812-1080 motor.

If there is a systems for your Himax, go for it it look like your motor can handel up to 18oz. for 3D. But like 3DSavage said try to make your foame lighter. Like 12oz or less, so you can have power to climb on a reverse hover. What lipo your using and what servo for the pitch?

Hi Warthog.

Im sure not everyone wants to get into heli, so for some a little more versatility in what they already like it's always welcome.

It's not hard just take some time to set and trim everything and if your new and don't have someone to guide you it make take you longer since you will have to discover by your self some important facts. But hey we are here to help so it should be easyer for you not like me I learn by my self and the hard way. So do your research and ask all the questions you want before buying all the stuff. I'll answer them as much as I can.

Julian.

Well that depend on the plane you are going to use, I have two sistem: The V-Pitch from Electryfly and the E-flite Showstopper. For me the E-flite work better but there is other brans and moust of them they recomend a plane with it.
