walkera v450d01 helicopter

RE: walkera v450d01 helicopter
Cananybody (independant of the heli manufacturer)confirm if this is as stable and as easy to fly as its slightly smaller brother the V400D02, which in my view and experience is the most stable and easy to fly CP heli you can buy today. Compared to other 450 size helis the V400D02 is like a co-axial, (really) only downside is the V400D02 has a tail motor and brushed motors (which keeps it cheap, but takes a bit of the edge off performance wise).
So if the V450D01 is as stable as the V400D02 then I will have to buy one as it has all the bells and whistles as well.
One other question -can you fly the V450D01 with the 2603 tx or do you have to have the 2801 pro Tx?
Thanks in advance.
Also I'dlike a short review from an independant source regarding the V450D01.

I am also very interested in this Heli......
I currently have a 4G6S and want to add this as my outdoor Heli.. Seems like a nice setup at an amazing price.

RE: walkera v450d01 helicopter
I'm just a plain old sports flier, and the first CP helo I ever got to fly in a controlled manner was my V120D02 and then my 4F200. I never was able to get my Blade SR or CP Pro to hover for more than a few seconds, and never flew them. I fly a Blade 120 SR and mSR to relax, when I fly my Walkera's I work at it. I have had the V450 for a couple days and have several batteries through it. I took it out of the box. Set it up and loaded the 2801 Pro that came with my V120, bound it, and popped it into a hover and flew circuits in my 100' x 100' backyard. Pretty stable and flies to where I tell it to. I'm pretty happy. No wind yet, I'm a dawn and dusk flier.... hope that helps

I think the flybarless V450 makes me happier than my B400. I use my DX6i for all my E-flight, parkzone, and Hobbyzone stuff, and stuff a spare AR500 into any rx ready bird I pick up. I use the 2801 Pro for all my Walkera and Novus stuff, but I have never put any extra receivers in any other birds for that tx. Seems I just lean more towards my DX6i for that.... imo

If you're looking for a good 450 size, check out the new Walkera V450D03, which has the new 6-axis gyro. Great heli, very stable and easy to work on, I love mine.
