Will a Walkera Heli lift a digital camera?
I have a Canon S50, which weighs in at 315g (11.1 oz)
Is the Walkera Dragonfly 60B Heli powerful enough to lift it?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=250076098477
The camera has a feature where it will automatically take up to 100 shots at any preset interval; it would be cool to do aerial photography.
Thanks all

If you go brushless with an ultralight battery, then you might.... but flight times will [:'(]
I think that 315 grammes ekstra is more than just a bit too heavy. It is 50% ekstra weight.
I would suggest you look at one of the lightweight Wireless Cams.
If you really want to use that camera, in a Walkera Helicopter, then you should look at the Large Walkera HM 6#2
http://www.walkera.com/en/pro_partic...r=Z306%2320104
The T-Rex 600 should also have the necesarry performance, and is a better known model than the so far very rare HM 6#2.
If you want to use that Camera in a 60B, then if you strip the camera from all unneeded weight, you might be able to do it.
But that would mean dissambling the camera and running without the camera house if possible, and also trying to find a lighter/smaller battery, that just has the power needed for one photo flight before recharging.
Maybe even running the Camera of an seperate High Power BEC, from the main battery.

Anybody seen or heard anything about the Walkera #83? Just saw it on their website. 900mm rotor. Seems to be very underpowered. Go take a look.
