Default Walkera 35C 3D helicopter

I have just got a Walkera 35C Heli. I got it from a market stall in Hong Kong. It comes with a Brushless Outrunner motor, and a 11.1V Lipo battery and charger. It only has a plastic frame and head but seems OK.
I had to decide between the 35C (Lipo, Brushless) or the 60 (Ni-Mh, Brushed) but with a metal frame and head/tail rotor.
I decided on the lipo/brushless.

I can't seem to find any comments on the 35C in RCU. Is it a new model?. I have had several Zoom/Shogun helis in the past and I weakened and decided to have another go at these damn helis again. It cost me just over A$200, so I thought it was a good deal. It came with a mode 2 TX (dry cells).

I am still in my hotel room, so I havnt flown it yet, but I will as soon as I get home.

You guys with Walkera experience, will I need to do much adjustment, or will it be really "RTF"?. I have run up the motor and it all seems to run smoothly.

Has anyone got a 35C?

Any comments?

Regards

Yes,
it has a belt driven tail. It is not ccpm just the normal pitch and roll swashplate. I am not into 3D so I don't care. For the money it seemed like a good deal. It has a 7ch pcm radio and glass blades.

I guess because it is a new model, I cant find it on the Walkera web site.

Anyone else have one?.

Regards

Tom,

Wow, you got belt drive with that 35C and the new outrunner...nice! Well, I can't comment on the 35C, but I have two 36 helis and they were both setup perfectly out of the box and work great. Hopefully yours will be the same.

Yes,

I seemed like a good deal to me. It has a lipo battery and charger, outrunner brushless and belt driven tail and a 7ch PCM Radio.

I was back in China today and they had a Walkera 60 with alluminium head and tail but it did not have the lipo or the brushless motor.
I was pleased with the Walkera. I have had two Zoom/Shogun 400s and this seem to be as good or better.

My first zoom had the bevel tail gears and it was very fragile. This thing also comes with glass blades. We go home tomorrow so I will see how it flies. I will let you know.

While I was in china, I got a 11.1v 2200 lipo for A$30.

Regards

Has been on the Walkera site for the last week or so.
http://www.walkera.com/en/pro_partic...r=Z335%23C0104

Looks like a Plastic version of the 68B, but with better landing gear.
Does it have stright or bewel cut gears?
