Default walkera 60b battery question

Very quick question: What battery is best for this heli? On the walkera siteit says it comes with a 11.1v 1200/1500mah... Which one is it? 1200 or 1500? If I was to purchase replacements, which should I get? Also what c-rating should they be?

Default RE: walkera 60b battery question

Walkera tend to put 1200mAh with brushed setup (brushed not good on this heli) and 1500mAh with Brushless setup, the walkera stock batteries are 10C rated, for replacement depends on your setup don't want high C rated on brushed setup, but the 10C batteries could be improved upon with brushless setup, just not too powerful when walkera say its a 30A ESC they really do mean 30A, a 1500mAh at 20C or 1800mAh at 15C but go much bigger than that I would replace the ESC as well (PS don't forget to check dimensions of replacement battery).

I agree with that. I fly with a 20C 1500mAH and a 20C 1800mAH. I wouldnt go higher or lower due to the CG.

or you could do this [img][/img] we use up to 2450mah but have changed our motor's and ESC's, you can fly for 10 minuets even with a camera on board and we think the 60 fly's better with more weight, just sport flying,
