So I got too confident flying around trees and the wind took it in to a tree then it dropped to the snow. The snow shorted parts because one chip physically came off of the rx and one chip bulged slightly.
How do I test that everything else is ok and what is the fastest way to get a rx2410 or what else is compatible that a local shop might stock (tx is tx 2401)? I might even entertain buying a new tx if it will get it flying faster. All the other parts look fine to me (mechanical parts/exposed pcb on motors), I dried everything immidiatly.
(btw the casing for the rx hardware says rx2410 but on the pcb for the rx it has wk-rx2406 printed on it) Heli is a 5#10

Like most 2.4Ghz equipment, I'd bet the Walkera stuff is incompatible with everyone else's.
Their 72 Mhz stuff is incompatible with all other 72Mhz stuff.
I suspect they would do the same for 2.4.

I have been looking for this part since late Dec 09 and currently the only guy that has it is this dealer from China. Approx $59.00 after shipping.
