Is the wakera 60 good for beginners?
Hello,
I have no clue in flying helicopters and i want to get started...
Is it a good heli to start with or should i start with something else?
Is there something better for the same amount of money?
Thank a lot..

RE: Is the wakera 60 good for beginners?
Hi Michachu.
Some say you should start with a coax heli, learn orientations in the hover, etc, etc. Personally, I dived right in to a CP heli, and the Walkera 60 worked (and still is) fine for me.
I would STRONGLY recommend using a simulator on your PC before you try to fly the real thing. I saved many $$$ by crashing on the sim rather than the real thing.
The 60 is my only heli, so I am not really qualified to offer alternatives. Walkera has a bit of a poor reputation for quality - (not my opinion - but that seems to be the concensus on the net). However, I have not had any problems with mine, and it flew just fine right out the box!
Cheers.
