Default Hobby Engine M1A1

ALCON,

I am looking to buy an M1A1 Hobby Engine RC tank, andit seems that everyone who sells these areout of stock, and everyone says expecting shipping. But no one can provide dates when the item is expected to arrive.

So imagine my luck when the accountant (wife) finally gives me the go-ahead after 3yrs of dropping hints that I wanted one. Then I start shopping, and the dang tanks have been exterminated by forces of evil!!!!

I have checked with rctankwars (Phil is awesome!)
I have checked with JHCHOBBY
I have checked with Tower Hobby
I have checked Ebay
I have checked Craigslist

Any many many many more.
I even toyed with the idea of having one shipped from the UK ... WAYtoo expensive.
Then I looked into ordering from the manufacturer, again WAY too expensive.

I can't but them in bulk to offset the cost of shipping like a distributor can. But then I can't get Hobby Engine to provide me with a list of their distributors either. /sigh/
Roadblocks at every turn.

So I would like to ask that everyone scout their local area for one. If you find one available in CANADA or United States that is in stock, and for sale (ready to ship)please post in this thread.

War and Peace,
GoDOWaR

Iam from Upstate NY. North of Syracuse, a little crap hole called Adams Center.

I keep checking EBAY and Iam not seeing any sales. Do you have a way to contact the guy, or know his seller ID?That way I can search for his products and/or email him through ebay and ask if he has any,

Thanks!

I have seen both the M1A1 and the Leo2 A5 sold branded as "Carson" and with a new 2.4 Ghz radio. It also looks like they have changed the rubber tracks with single links type.
That might be the reason of the disappearing of previous model.

Bah .... 1 Raw T-Bone, 1 Raw Rump Roast, and 1 Raw London Broil should have him eating out of my hands. As long as he doesn't bite my hand off in the process, or only bites one off ... That would still leave the other for the grabbing! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
