I am in Provo and have a lot of tamiya tanks. A ways back I contacted someone in Ogden that has a Leo 2 and a King tiger. But I have been too busy (and sometimes lazy with car trouble) to do anything. When you guys get together I will have to try to join.

Well right now its just me and abrams. Im still waiting for all my 1/16s to get to me and my replacement tracks for my leo2. Now that its warming up though i hope we will be able to get together. We need to find a common meeting ground somewhere. If you guys have any suggestions please let me know. There is a "Scale" rock climbing RC group in the area that i may probe to see if i can convert them to tanks. There is also Destination hobbies about 20 minutes from my house and Frequency RC by layton hills mall.

If you are looking for a good battle you can join us in Phoenix on March 3rd. Might be worthy of a road trip.

RE: Tankers in Utah?
I understand. DAK members have traveled to SoCal to battle with SCAT a few times and on two occasions we have done the 6 hour drive, battled, then driven back. You have a standing invitation to one of our Phoenix events if you can make the trip. After March our next event is mid May and SCAT is coming to Phoenix for a little fun in the sun.

Well buying a house and will be setting up a tanking arena in the back garden once we get moved in. This cen be the meeting place. Any new Utah Tankers on the boards? How about the 2 posters from earlier. The house is in ogden. The wife has given permission. If i can get a club started we could all bump heads on an arrangement for it.

Club of one so far?
Your wife cannot be a member?
Is your new club house going to have a cot in it?
You may want to make you wife a life time member, it may make buying more tanks and parts easier

The last time i let my wife drive a tank she drove the barrel of my King Tiger through the mantlet and into the turret. She is no longer allowed to drive anything RC. Heck she couldnt even keep from hitting me when we were driving our Xmods in a parking lot. Not crowded there yet she manages to hit me at least 3 times. Nope the wife+RC vehicles=alot of broken parts.

My wife shoot me in the chest with her Panzer III the first time she drove an RC. What pissed me off is that her Panzer can shoot twice as hard as any of my other tanks and it hurt, now she thinks she's a better shot. Tanks can be trouble in the hands of a spouse.
