Problems with the MFU units in the Tamiya Pershing M-26
Hi Everyone , I had a real serious problem with trying to operate my new Pershing from Tamiya. The Tank s just would not move when power was applied due to a clich in the MFU.
Here is what Tamiya sent me and it works.
Dear Tamiya Customer,
The Pershing has a "Rev Mode", which engages every time the tank is turned
on. To disengage the Rev Mode, move the throttle trim knob all the way in
the direction of reverse (should be left stick down), move the throttle
stick all to way to full reverse and right back to neutral, return trim knob
to center and your ready to drive. Please let me know if you're still have
problems.

This is normal operation but could not find it in the manual. Keeps the tank on the table top
when you power up and motor stick is not neutral.

You'll find instructions regarding rev mode (and how to put the tank "in gear") in the DMD manual, which is the little book that came with the tank.
