Wildhare 28% Edge 540 V1 Pitch problems
Hi everyone. I have a 28% Wildhare Edge 540 V1 and as soon as you cut the power to land the plane it wants to pitch up. The airplane even with this much weight up front is still tail heavy. Anyone have any ideas on if I can correct this or not? I am afraid to keep adding more weight up front and if I move the rudder to a pull pull system would it actually balance the airplane? Has anyone done this with their airplane or ran a different setup than me with a DA50R and had good balance? If so, please let me know. I will post this on other forums so only post once if you answer here. Thanks.
Setup:
CG is 4.5 inches back from the leading edge of the wings as per manual.
Engine - DA50R
Servos - Hitec HS-5625MG 4 mounted in the tail. 2 elevator and 2 rudder.
Tank - 24 oz. mounted behind firewall in front of wing tube.
Batteries - under cowling up front
Receiver - behind wing tube
weights - .25 oz. x 8 up front
Elevator - 3 clicks up elevator to compensate during landing.

Maybe too much Down Thrust in the engine mount....
Trimmed to fly straight under power (with the motor pulling "downward")
Engine quits, no more down thrust, airplane pitches UP!!
