Default 73" edge and thunder tiger 1.20

Thinking about getting this plane but the only engine that I have is the TT 1.20 I also need to get servos and I think I will spend the money on them instead of a new engine so what kind of performance will I get with the TT 1.20

The plane is light enough that your TT 1.2 should fly it just fine. LIke most of the 3D stuff that's done out here the best is always performed with lots of extra available power. That's where people with the 1.4 and 1.5 engines are obtaining better performance, but you sould have more than enough to hover the plane with a decent pull out. That's kind of how I grade engine performance, does it have enough to pull out of a hover, and if so, with what acceleration? Yours will do well enough to be enjoyable and without causing concern.

As with any other plane/engine combination, the final all up weight of YOUR plane can make or break any performance standard. Just don't go overboard adding a bunch of unneccessary stuff like many are prone to do. Meaning that the plane is plenty strong enough already so don't go "beefing" things up to make it better. You'll only make it heavier.

The TT 1.20 is what I used on the prototype, it flew great.
