Default WH edge 84 inch

I'm working on hovering my edge with my DA 50. It seems to me like I have no responce from my rudder and elevator like I'm used to from other planes. I'm spinning a Menz 22-8 prop. It's my first bigger plane and gasser. Why does it feel like it's not responding when I'm on high rates with max throw? Do I have to blurp the throttle to get responce with these bigger planes? Any help would be great from anyone that knows.
Thanks, Scott

I can't seem to find a NX prop in the size of 23-8. Where did you get one?

depends on weight if heavy you may need to burp for 3d to get responce and also how much air flow past the control serfaces a bigeer prop and lower pitch is what most use and most top pilots use throttle to expodential movement pus look at your cg further back the better but not too far

Another question, how much "expo" are you using? If it's above 75 or 80% you won't obtain much control motion until you start making severe stick inputs. The next question is are you certain that you are actuall using high rates? The reason I ask is my experience with both the 28% Edge and Extras has been that the rudder and elevators are extremely effective even at low rates. For those reasons I'm guessing the problem is with the radio set up or a condition/mode switch position.

Yes I'm on high rates and I'm using anywhere from 60-70% expo.
