I don't know about freestyle flying, but we do need to get together for some flying and photo ops. Here is the guts I'm using, since this is a Eye-Candy thread. SGT what color scheme did you get?

Tom was good enought to bring mine to Sherman IMAC this weekend. I am really excited and ready to get started on it!!!

Sadly, Fixed WIng (Dean) had a mid-air and is trying to decide whether to rebuild it or not. His, Lyndel's and Dan's all flew really well when watching them!!!

How far up does the rudder pin go on the small rudder?? When I inserted mine about 1/4-3/8" was left sticking out. I couldn't get it any further.

Once installed correctly, what is used to hold the rudder pin in place??

Thanx

ed

With 1/4 - 3/8" left sticking out it sounds like you have the CF rod fully inserted. There should be a horse shoe shaped alluminum retainer that you screw over the portion of the CF rod sticking out. This is attached with 2 small screws. This will keep the rod from backing out during flight. You might find this retainer in one of the bags of screws provided if its not already attached to the bottom of the rudder. Hope this helps.

Where are your landing gear cuffs? I think those really dress the plane up.

Still is an awesome looking plane without them. Just giving you some grief.

I lost mine at an IMAC contest last weekend. Had a mid-air collision with another pilot. Tom was there and saw it happen. Wasn't pretty...

I was at a IMAC contest in NC and saw a mid air, not a good thing, but it happens. Sorry for your loss, are you getting a replacement?
