Default Canister mount - teflon connector

Trying to mount the teflon tube connector on the canister/header pipes. Is there a trick to get this to slide on easier? It seems extremely stiff.

Default RE: Canister mount - teflon connector

You can heat it up a bit with a heat gun..

I found in my canister installation that the spring hose clamps did NOT hold well enough, so I replaced for your normal automotive screw tightening type. Has not moved or leaked since!
