Default baby extra up to the challenge

Is the Baby extra up to the challenge of competing in Imac Constest against 50 cc-150cc planes.

On a recent Imac event at my club I started really limited with a sport plane competing against the gassers.

Or should I consider stepping into them if I want to give a fair fight for the next event.

Thanks

Default RE: baby extra up to the challenge

You will feel intimidated by the larger planes, but the larger planes give their pilots only a small advantage.

You will do much better by practicing more, that is what makes the difference, not the plane.

Of course all things being equal the parger plane has the advantage, but all things are never equal. I'll take a well trimmed baby Extra and 12 hours of practice time over a 40% plane with no trimming and no time and to practice any time.
