wren 54 idle help
hi
ive fitted a new flightworks 200 pump to my 54, the ecu is set to idle at 44000 rpm ,it actualy idles anywhere from 43500 to 45000 regardless, any ideas what the problem is guys, i have relearned the throttle

There were some pumps from FW that did have erratic idle. As Wren in England is on holiday till 4th of Jan, you will not be successful in catching anyone at the factory.
I will offer to ship you a replacement if you will send your faulty one to England!!

thats a very kind offer thankyou, will you need to speak with wren uk before shipping to me?... i had to wait a while to get the pump i have because the last batch wren had were all faulty, looks like the same has happened again eh?

Email me your shipping address and I will get one out today. Wren USA and Wren Ltd are one in the same, meaning quicker turnaround times and better service for our customers. FW pumps are made here in America, so I can handle the warranty issue directly from here. Nadim @ FW is well aware of the problem and corrected it immediately (10 pumps were affected, I believe)
