Default New (used) Wren 54 MkIII Owner seeking Learner Info!

Hi There

I am just in the process of putting together my very first Turbine Model and have managed to acquire a very low hour Wren 54 Mk III (Gas Start) with a V10 ECU which is getting fitted into my (also newly acquired) used Boomerang Sprint.

Whilst I am lucky enough to be in a club with a very supportive turbine membership I would still like to learn as much about turbines and this particular turbine myself so I can at least remotely understand everything I'm about to be taught!!

Anyway I was just wondering if anyone would be able to point me in where I might be able to read or download some good info on operating turbines and/or the Wren 54 in particular.

Many thanks for any advice!

Go to the US Jet Pilots Assn website for a good general guide.

From homepage go members: knowledge bank: know your turbine engine.

I have two Wrens myself, very happy with them.

Good luck! John.

Cheers John

I'm really looking forward to it.

And thanks very much for that information!

I just downloaded a few of their articles then and they look like very interesting reading.

Dave

I take it you are not in Sydney, there's only one
jet friendly club here, the one I'm in!
