Running a MW-54 after storage
Hi, I have a MW-54 Mk III (built from a kit), which has been sitting unused for about 3 years. Are there any issues with starting it after an extended time without running? Can I expect the bearings to need replacing?

RE: Running a MW-54 after storage
I would suggest that you:
Replace all fuel lines
Replace batteries
Check filter
run fuel thru the fuel pump for several minutes using a 1.2 volt nicad
Inject a bit of fuel directly into the lube fitting and spin the compressor by blowing compressed air thru it...this will wet the shaft tunnel and bearings. If it sounds good...light it!!
Enjoy!!
