Hello,

What would the chances be of picking up a new piston and liner, regulator diaphragm and spring for an old YS61 FR these days.
Is there anyone with a stash of spares they'd be willing to let go.
I wish to revive an old style pattern ship and what better way than using an old classic pattern engine.

If your YS agent in the UK does not have the parts you might contact Richard at YS Parts and Service in the US. I can contact him for you if need be, just let me know.

I have sent an e-mail to YS parts and service yesterday, however my internet connection isn't all that great at home so It may be worth you dropping him a line for me if that's at all possible.
Plus this engine has no instructions at all, is there somewhere I can download a copy. The YSPower website in Japan no longer lists this engine in it's instruction downloads.

Petec, any news on the piston and liner for my 61 FR please. I was only bidding for the engine on ebay when I first asked, I now own it and for a bargain price too so any spares that are left I would be interested in.

i just talked to Richard and he is out of stock on the piston and liner. That engine is an ABC so they come as a matched pair. He would have to contact YS in Japan and see if they were still available. Given you are in the UK instead of this side of the pond perhaps your best bet would be to contact YS Japan directly or have your UK YS agent contact them.

I would like some help regarding this engine. In the manual, part 27, needle valve, does it need an o-ring? I have one engine running, but it leaks by the valve assembly. I changed the o.rings, but I do not know if the needle valve requires one itself.
