Default Where are the 91FZ's??

Where are the 91FZ's?? I am having the hardest time finding YS airplane motors. I wanted to buy the 91 FZfor the Four Star60 I am building. I can't find them anywhere, is YS still making them?

They made a 110 from the 91 and now it's a 115. Same weight and WAY more power.

that would probably be too much for a 60 then...   Unless I keep it throttled way back.  Is it the same size as the 91?

YS 70, more power than most companies 91's and a lot lighter.

As stated above the 91 has been out of production for a while. The 70 makes great power and is very user friendly and the 1.15 is the same size as the 91. Just for a power comparison, I had a 91AC in the nose of Showtime 4D and it was a good match.

The four star 60 suggests a  .65 - .90 4 stroke. Do you guys suggest the 70fz-s or the 115?  Originally I was going to go with a 90, but since it is now a 1.15 I am not sure if it is too big. The 1.15 is heaver than the 90's from OS and Saito, but with more power. I am not sure if the .70F
Z will be too small.  I liked everything I readon the YS motors, but I am in the middle of the power bands it seems. Maybe I should go with another manufacture?

The YS70 makes just a tad more power than the Saito 91 but not quite a saito 100 in my experience.
It may be a great match.

I did a little searching for you on this and found a few guys flying OS 91 Surpass and their clones on the Four Star swinging a 14x4W which the YS 70 will swing with authority. The engine choice is up to you. Do I think the 70 would fly the plane well, yes I do. Could you ALWAYS use more power, sure. I saw one post where a guy had a 1.40FZ on his Four Star 60 with floats n it.

Like I said, I had a 91AC on a Showtime 90 4D and it would punch out of a hover. My 70 replaced a 63FZ and went from silly power to giggle like school girl power.
