Parts for YS .61 long stroke (rear ex)
Hi all, I'm looking for some spares to support my .61 long stroke (rear ex)
It's only ever been bench run and has been in its box for many years before I found and bought it from eBay in 2010
Ideally I'd like a piston and liner, regulator diaphragm and gasket set.
I know it's an old girl now, however there must be some spares still out there.....

RE: Parts for YS .61 long stroke (rear ex)
Cheers pete, Probuild are the uk distributor for YS and they only carry 4st bits now..
I've sent a few e mails and a Facebook message to YSPower in the US but as yet have had no reply.
They do list the piston and liner for $147 but without a reply I don't know if they keep it in or have them made to order.
Just out of interest, other than a hatori 650, what other available pipes would work well with this engine......?

I would call Richard, he and his guys are usually in the shop as they run every engine they repair before it goes out the door so sometimes emails take a while to get replied to.
Last 61 I had ran pipe and header from MAC Products here in the US.

I'll give them a quick call in that case.
Just out of interest, what size fuel tank would best suit this engine. It's gonna be installed in a Crescent Tornado 70's pattern/sport model, I'd need 10 mins plus take off/ landing.
I don't really know how thursty these 2 strokes are compared to the YS 4st.
