    RE: 115FZ Crank re assembly

I had the same problem with a 70. I finally put a nylon wire wrap around ( shuved it down one side until it came out the other - cylinder off ) the ring and compressed it while I pushed it in. One of the official guys said that the camfer is sufficeint just to press the crank in on the 115 ? But there should also be room to put something around the ring to compress it while you push the crank in.

Thanks Four Stroker for such a simple obvious solution, I have to say there is not much sign of any chamfer in my crankcase

I will let you know how I get on whn I get the new ring

The (crankshaft )ring only rides on one side. Just turn it around.
