YS-110 Drive Washer
Have a new YS FZ110 engine with only five tanks of fuel run through it (16 oz). High Speed Needle Valve set about three clicks less than two turns. During my last flight upon landing I noticed my True Turn Spinner was trashed! Looks like the spinner adapter loosed up in flight. The aluminum spinner backplate has pretty well smoothed out the engines drive washer. Can I replace the drive washer myself or does it need to be sent in. It appears to be sealed and will not just pull off? Since this is my first YS Four Stroke I'm not familiar with it. I can only hope there was no internal damage from the prop unloading in the air? Should I send the engine in to be checked?
On a side note I've learned a lesson the hard way. When I ordered this engine from my LHS I asked them to order me the appropriate spinner and adapter for this engine too. Turns out the adapter they ordered was not a double nut type.

The drive washer sits on a collet and requires a puller to remove. A small gear puller will work fine, but sometimes you can just whack it on one side with screwdriver HANDLE and it will pop off.
