Default Cam gear spun on L...how much needs replacing?

Hi again Dave,
I guess the cover vibrated off causing the cam gear to lose alignment and it spun a flat onto the cam gear. Pop, dead stick, perfect landing, it was the best YS I have had until that moment. Started on a back flip every single time. Never let me down.

What is the normal list for this repair? Crank and cam gear and 2 screws for the cover? The cover and its bearing stayed in the cowl and they look OK.

Also, I have a DZ. 25 flights, 25 dead sticks. What to do?

Other DZ is great. 63fz is great. 120fz is fine. Other 63fz is doing fine too.

Thanks,
Mark

If you got lucky and didn't damage the crank, the fix is easy, just replace the cam gear. Better check the valves to see if they hit the piston when the gear popped out.

The DZ probably has a bad pump. No way to know without seeing it.
