YS-160DZ won't cut-off
Hi Troy,
I have a little tune problem with my new 160DZ on Integral F3A. The engine run quite well on both hi and low RPM (2000 idle) but at the end of the flight it won't die out even when the throttle is fully closed and it keeps running very slowly (and roupghly) for 15-30 seconds until it finally dies out.
I use 20-20 fuel and APC 18.1X10 prop
Would appreciate any advice
Thanks
Yoav

You likely need to close the throttle barrel a little more.
There is a throttle barrel stop screw that is right next the carb opening. If you adjust this screw a little looser then adjust your servo to close the throttle barrel further it will cut off more quickly.
Don't loosen that throttle barrel stop screw too much. You want to adjust it just a little at a time to allow the engine to cut. Each time you will need to check the servo adjustment to make sure the servo is driving the barrel to this stop position. I would guess you only need a small adjustment and the engine will cut fairly quickly. Usually it takes about 4-5 seconds to stop the engine after moving the throttle to the kill position.
