Default YS - 120 F set up & Operating Instructions

YS-120 F Set Up, Tuning, Operating Instructions

I have a YS-120F and have lost the operating instructions. I muddled around and finally got it running, but it seems rich at the low end and has an unreliable idle....seems to load up and die.

Can you please help by publishing the operating and set up instructions??

Many Thanks.

And you might want to secure that eng run stand just a bit better.

Russ,

The manual is in your e-mail. Also, if you want a good page on seting up your series of YS I really like:

Default RE: YS - 120 F set up & Operating Instructions

Hello

If this double posts I apologize. I am having problems with RCU for some reason today :P

I just picked up an older YAK-54. It has on it a YS F 120. I am trying to track down a manual and see if there are still parts out there available for the motor. It is currently propped at 15x6. I will have to see if she runs. Any ideas/suggestions appreciated.

Thanks
Brandon

Parts can be had from Central Hobbies or YS Parts and Service. Are you sure of the model. If so PM me your e-mail address and I will send you a manual in PDF format.

I have a YS 120F and would appreciate the operating maual in PDF formatt. I am going to bench test this enfine before I buy it. Do you happen to know when the YS 120f series was made? Do these older engines put out as much power as some of the newer 120 size engines? I plan to put tjis engine in a Great Planes Sterman 120.

Thanks

Manual was just emailed to you.

The FS has been out of production a while, not sure of the years it was produced. The good news is that as long as the case is not damaged the parts are all replaceable.

The YS uses a forced induction set up and will make more power than other brands of the same displacement that are not supercharged.

Just inherited a YS F-120 without manual. Any chance you could email me a PDF copy of the manual. Engine is running but I don't think it is up to its full potential. Thanks Jim

I was just given a YS f-120 supercharged engine and a nice Goldberg Ultimate 300 that needs a little work. Got the box for the engine but it just had the original muffler and a wrench. No Manual. If anyone has the manual in PDF form and could send it to me would be greatly appreciated. Looks like it has had very little run time, but has been sitting a long time.

Bob

PM me and I will send you my E-mail

Thanks
