Ys fz70
I had to take the needle socket out of the engine to be able to tighten one of the engine mounting screws. This engine was running great and with no issues .whenIwanted to reinstall the needle socket back to the engine I noticed that it has only two o rings whereas the schematic diagram shows that there are three o rings there. I believe that it did have 2 o rings initialy; ie not me losing it in the process of taking it off. As I mentioned earlier the engine ran great .Is it possible that it came with two o rings due to change of design ? Shall I run it and see if there is any difference in performance?

RE: Ys fz70
Sorry for the delay. I took mine apart and it only has 2 o-rings on the seat.

RE: Ys fz70
Thank you Petec .I am sure the engine would still be happy with two o rings.

RE: Ys fz70
You can add a third O-ring between the steel ring and the carb body if you so desire. It is redundant.

RE: Ys fz70
Yes I would think so as well as there is some sort of an o ring groove there .But as I found only two and Petec confirmed that his has only two o rings also it seems that the schematic drawing is not updated.I will be running my engine this weekend and see if there is any change in performance.
