ZDZ 40 - No Fuel!
I cannot get this thing to draw fuel. I took the carb apart and cleaned it thoroughly. I've tried using my Megatron starter, opening the valves all teh way out and even pressurizing the tank, but it just won't draw fuel.
Help! Anybody! Please???

Check your choke butterfly. If there is a hole in it, solder it closed. I had the same exact problem. Once I soldered the hole the fuel flowed perfectly and the engine started.

ZDZ 40 - No Fuel!
Hello,
I had the same problem when I tried to start my ZDZ 40. My G23 would draw fuel by just turning the prop slowly and I presumed that all gas engines would be the same. Well to make a long story short I will tell you what works. Take the prop and flip it just like you are starting it!!! You have all the fuel you want. I guess it must be the way BING carbs are.

If flipping the prop works, why wouldn't using the starter work?
Cover the inlet to the carb (tape, foam, whatever) and see if you can get it to draw fuel that way. If that works, it may be an air leak somewhere. Maybe even the hole in the choke butterfly like mentioned above.

Also, have you checked to make sure your lines are totally clear from your tank? Maybe even use an external tank and fresh line to test it.
Let us know when you fix it.
