ZDZ80 transition
Hello,
My ZDZ80 seems to not be transitioning instantly anymore, throttle ups/downs have a little delay in response.
Engine is about 2 years old.
Any suggestions ?
Been using 26x10 Menz and MSC.
Thanks,
Lennard

RE: ZDZ80 transition
Could be your carb. Pull it apart and clean it. We stock the Walbro carbs if you need to purchase one. Change the spark plug. Check your battery capacity. Be sure the engine is not carboning up whih is an indication of overheating or lean running.
Thanks,

RE: ZDZ80 transition
I checked the carb and the screen appears to be clean.
Plug was changed recently.
I don't think the engine is running lean or overheating, it has proper baffling also.
There is some carbon on the piston, I would like to clean this.
Should I remove the cylinder and clean it out with a decarbonzing spray ?
Does it just require unbolting the 4 bolts at the base of the cylinder ?
It would require a very short allen wrench.
