Default ZDZ40 RV prop questions

I have a ZDZ40 RV with a 20x10 prop installed in a Hanger 9 27% Extra 260. I bought the plane/engine combo used. My question is, can I go to a 21 or 22 x8 prop? The manual only mentions props with a 10 pitch. Thanks
RC

21x8 would be best.

21x8 would be best.
Thanks,
Thanks Mike, This my first gas engine so I'm overly cautious. What do you think would be the optimum RPM's with a 21x8 NX prop? Thanks again,
RC

Default RE: ZDZ40 RV prop questions

For the Hanger 9 260/ ZDZ 40 combination, the Mejzlyk 20X10 or 21X8 works the best by far. The NX will cost you RPM & power. Iknow, I tried it. I have ran over 30 gallons through my ZDZ 40 & tried several props with it. The engine likes the Mez. the best.

That said, Mike has just released a new line of props that are probably going to turn out to be the best allaround props for the ZDZ engines. A little pricey, but sometimes you do get what you pay for. I picked up one for my ZDZ 60, waiting on weather to try it out.
