My 80 RV ran like a champ inverted for two years. I recently installed in a new plane side mounted and to make connection to the throttle and choke arm easier I turned the card 180 degrees. Since then, the engine will run out the fuel when choked and then it quits. Used the same tank, etc. Only change is the orientation.
Would rotating the carb effect the engine?

Jeff, You CANNOT change the carb orientation!
The pulse hole will not line up.
This will cause the engine to run lean and cause serious damages.
Thanks,

That explains the problem. Didn't run enough to fly, so no worries.
Thanks Mike.
BTW, What a great engine.
