    ZDZ 80RV-J & Tachometer

I just started my new ZDZ Super 80 for the first time today...once I got the idle set correctly..it ran like a top. I went to plug in the Tachometer to see what kind of RPM's I was getting at idle. As soon as I plugged it in..it killed the engine. When I first got the tach from TBM..I noticed that one of the buttons was stuck in the down position..I was able to work it loose..(it was caught under the plastic.) I am not for certain which button it was...but I read in the manual that button #2 is used to kill the engine without killing the ignition. Could there be some issue with the tach that I received?? I bought it from TBM.

    Thanks,
    Howie

Howie, Never heard of a stuck kill button.
Please send it in for us to look at and to repair or replace.
