Did anything change between the day before and the next day like lets say you installed it in the airplane in an inverted position. Or was the first time in the aircraft.
I purchased the ZDZ 40B and this is what happened to me. It ran flawless on the bench in the upright position, but when i installed it on the plane It flooded really easily and I had to play with the needles all over again. I finally found and OK setting, but it was only after flying the plane a few times. On the ground runs really didn't help much as it would run different in the air.

I would suggest you check the batt charge then. And remember that after 90sec the ign module goes into safe mode . If you flip the prop after that, you might be flooding the engine, owing that your choking the engine waiting for a pop.
