Default zdz 80 blue head starting problem

I am having problems starting the zdz 80 blue head. It use to start after a couple of flips, and I have tryed the 5 & 5. Now I have to start it with a starter, it runs great after you get it started. After it is warmed up it will flip start but cold you can flip it 50 times. Whats the problem? I don't want to buy a starter? thanks

Be sure the low end is not too lean. Set it to 2 turns out. Give it a try.
Be sure the throttle butterfly is opening in the correct direction.
The screw head should face IN toward the engine when closed.

Robert, The needles are marked 'H' and 'L' for reference....High and Low speed needles, respectively.

Here is a link to the ZDZ engine manual: http://www.zdz-modelmotor.cz/zdz/en/dfu.asp?id=1

Sorry Mike, not trying to intrude here...just help out if I can.

Chad
