Falkon Ign. & M1 (A123) cells Unregulated
I am about to switch 3 ZDZ motors (40, 80 & 160) over to M1 (A123) cells. From what I can gather reading other posts, several people are using the M1 cells (2 cells) on their ignitions, unregulated, with no ill effects. A couple manufactures even said that it was ok to do so.
So I ask the questions...
Is it ok to do so?
If not what is the upper & lower limit of the input of the Falkon ignition?
Thanks in advance...

Take a look at your ignition box and it should tell you what voltage you can run.
I have Falken ignitions that stipulate 4.8 - 6.0 volts. I don't know if Falken ever made ignitions that would handle more than that but my more recent ignitions are ZDZ branded and will handle up to 9.0 volts. These are not Falken.
If you're not sure then regulate down to 6.0.
Mike would be able to give you a definitive answer but if you go with what it says on the ignition box you'll be safe.
