Default What are people running for ignition voltage?

I'm looking at getting Relion 2600s for my Aero-works 75cc Extra. I'm going to run voltage regulators on the batteries going to the receiver, but was thinking of not running one to the ignition. They are supposed to handle 9.0V, and the Relion's are 7-7.4V. It would be nice to keep it lighter and simpler by having one less voltage regulator in the system. What is everybody else running for ignition batteries/voltage? Thanks.

Default RE: What are people running for ignition voltage?

Eager to see your reply's I have a evolution 26 which requires a min of 6 1/2 volts to start. Using Lithium Ion 7.2 volt battery which get up to 8 1/2 volts. So far i hd 2 ignition systems replaced and to be honest I'm scared to try another one. Horizon hobby say's no problem that what I have done is correct, Still nervouse RJEP
