I purchased these mufflers from AMT but have a issue with the installiation now. I have had several 50-80cc singles in the past however my first twin. The muffler off set is approx 33mm, now to mount the engine i would need to place spacers on the mounts to move the engine forward and then need to hack the cowl, not what i really wanted to do.
I have been told that the off set is typical of twins, when running mufflers like these, Is this correct ? A few guys at my field run other twins however have not got the same issue,
Not sure what direction to go in....

Yes, already tried that, However the exhaust outlets are angled back about 80degrees so turning the exhausts around will have them facing forward........
