Default Octane content

What should be the octane content for the RCS 140 ? Here in Quebec, 87 and 91 octane are available.

Thanks

Would 91 octane be better since about every small engine I know run better on 91 octane ?

I am asking this because the cost increase would be insignificant for ANY performance increase.

Can I damage the engine with higher octane content ?
