ZDZ40 runs up NOT down ?
 

Hi
My zdz40RV has just run 3 hours of brake in without any problems.

But now all the sudden it will not run with the cylinder DOWN ? Cylinder up theres NO problems.
It sucks fuel and fires ones with choke closed. I close choke and it fires and runs for only 5 sec. and dies. This procedure can be done over and over again.
Any known isues with carb/cylinder just working mounted up and not down ?

No. Was the carb removed? Check the alignment of gaskets etc.
Have never heard of this before.
If you cannot figure it out, please send it in for us to look at for you.

No changes was made and nothing disassembled. Came out of nothing.
- Live and bought the engine in Europe, so...;)

Just wondering if anybody in the US heard of that kind of defect ?

I tried a new carb (FOC from zdz) and it solved the problem. So the old carb might have some strange error?
