Ign Battery

I have an older 80. I did replace the ign system to the lastest ver at the time (do not have info with me at this posting). I seem to remeber the advice at the time was to stay with 4.8V Nicad (No NiHM).

Q - Can you use a Li-Ion battery regulated to 6V for ignition?

Yes, no problem....max input is 6.7v....
