Felt clunks ok in a ZDZ 50 NG?
Hi,
I know filters are a no no on ZDZ's. So is a Walbro felt clunk a bad thing too? Many people use them on these gas engines. I hate leaving my two new 50 NG's filterless but I am doing it per your advice. I do have a filter in my gas filler tank so it is filtered as it's filled. Joe |

We recommend filtering your fuel when filling the tank and using a filter on the vent line to remove debris kicked up at the field like grass seeds, dirt etc. Any filter you must check very often. This pertains to any gasoline engine, just not ZDZ's.....

What is wrong with using a felt clunk filter with gas engines? I've never heard of this being a problem.

Why isn't it recommended to use a filter on the carb line? I'm confused. Never heard this before.
