The WiFi Servo Controller is a device that will allow for the control of up to 8 hobby R/C servos via a wired LAN or wireless 802.11b/g WiFi connection. The controller can be configured for either wired or wireless operation at the flick of a switch. A secondary COM port is available for bi-direction serial communication to devices such as a GPS module, JPEG camera, and sonar sensors.
The WiFi Servo Controller features a built in web server allowing for control via a web browser. This means that virtually any web/Java enabled device can access and control the WiFi Servo Controller. A sample application has been pre-loaded to the web server that allows for simple control of all 8 servo ports. A user that wishes to modify this application can do so with the sample source code provided.
Control of the WiFi Servo Controller can also be performed with the use of a PC side application. Both custom user applications and the ServoCommander v1.5 software can be used for control. A sample program much like the built in web application is also available along with its source code. |
