Using
the Pro Charger:
The
pro charger provides adequate current to quickly charge small
to medium sized packs and is easy to use, though its complexity
may confuse you initially. I mainly used the charger on two types
of batteries, LiPo and NiMH.
You
can alter or adjust many components of this charger like end voltage,
capacity cutoff, safety timer, Temperature cutoff, Ext/Int temperatures,
Input power, and cell balancing.
There
are many charge cycles including fast charge, balance charge,
discharge, storage, and cycle. All have their uses and can be
very useful.
Using
the USB PC Link allows you to see the actual charge progression
and individual cell voltages. This is great for trouble shooting
weak batteries or making sure new ones are charging correctly.
The
Charger has performed great at home or at the track. This is the
charger I usually take with me to the track because it's small
and doesn't drain a whole lot from my car battery. The charge
lengths seem to be right on track with similar chargers and perfectly
charges my 2s LiPos.
