    RCUniverse.com - Dromida Vista UAV

    By: Geoff Barber

Is there anyone out there that didn't love the Dromida Ominus? Released in late 2014, the Ominus quickly became a huge success. Why? Because it was the first of its kind - a multi-rotor that was nearly indestructible! I know because I had one - I ran it into everything I could think of! The worst damage it sustained was a bent rotor shaft, which was easily straightened and the Ominus was flying again! So, drawing on what they learned with the Ominus, the Vista was born. Dubbed as the 'bigger brother', the Vista touts the same performance and indestructible nature as the Ominus, in a slightly larger size! One of the best features of the Vista is that, like its smaller sibling, it arrives ready to fly with nothing else to purchase!

The Vista can be flown nearly anywhere - add that to the fact that it's as tough as they come, and you have a performance multi-rotor that will provide plenty of entertainment and be easy on your budget! Inside or out, the Vista is sure to please! It's even equipped with several LEDs to keep the fun going after the lights go out! Even outside in the breeze, the 3-axis gyro system keeps the Vista flying straight and level!

A new ergonomic transmitter is included with the Vista. While retaining some of its game controller feel, the 2.4 gHz transmitter has a layout resembling a more traditional style. The new transmitter still has the same great features as the original, including the flight mode and flip buttons. Equipped with two sticks for directional control will help any pilot take command of the Vista!

The transmitter is now large enough for those of us that prefer to 'pinch' the sticks, while the tips of the sticks are serrated for thumb flyers. The lack of an external antenna means the pilot won't be replacing it because of an accident.

The new Vista also comes in four great colors! This means that you and three of your friends can all fly simultaneously and know who's piloting each Quad. Though red, blue, and green are colors the Vista shares with its little brother, the Vista kept white to itself. Like any big brother, some things are just not meant for the little guys.

The new white color stands out well against most backgrounds, and looks great at night as well. The new Vista - durability and flight performance to match the smaller Ominus in a bigger size. The time is now! Go out and get yourself the bigger, badder quad, and take your front yard, local park, or even a gymnasium by storm - You'll be glad you did!
