Other units store your planes safely but require the wings to be detached, have a complicated rope and pulley systems or multiple mounting screws and require permanent mounting to the wall or ceiling. With a **HANG-A-PLANE** ® you can keep them safely assembled and show them off too! Just one eyebolt screwed into a ceiling or wall stud for your large planes or use the included butterfly bolt for mounting through drywall ceilings or walls. **HANG-A-PLANE ®** can be used to safely display your pride and joy inside your home as well. All cradles are made from heavy gage aluminum or steel depending on size and are fully adjustable to fit your planes fuselage width and wing cord depth. Accommodates all wing styles, high, mid, low, biplanes, or rotary with or without the landing gear attached to the wing. Units can be used to weigh and balance your planes without damage.
Hangers are fully adjustable and come completely assembled with vinyl tubing and end caps to cushion and help protect your baby’s wing from rash. All the hardware is included to hang from your ceiling or wall. Included are two Eye Bolts. One is for screwing directly into a ceiling or wall stud and also for your heaver models. The butterfly bolt with washers is for mounting from a drywall ceiling or wall for models up to 12 Lbs. and when finding a stud is just inconvenient or in the wrong place!
Fully illustrated instructions are included for fool-proof mounting and adjusting and includes CG balancing instructions with rubber balancing adapters.
For custom-made fit, please specify your planes weight, the distance straight up from the bottom of the wing at the CG to the height of the rudder, (for the ceiling to rudder clearance), the width of fuselage and depth of wing cord (front to back of wing). A hanger will be custom made to your specifications!
