About
Quique:
Born in Rio Cuarto, Argentina, active modeller since he
can remember getting involved first with free flight,
hand launch models, and U-control airplanes to start to
fly R/C when he was 9 years old.
|
| His
dad Mario supported him and coach to become soon in the
F3A activity. At the age of 10, he placed first in the F3A
Argentina National Championships, while his dad was winning
an other National title. For those years his dad was the
top start in South America, also F3A South American champion,
so Quique had one of the best coaches at that time helping
him to become very soon the Argentina's F3A National champion
back in 1979 at the age of 12. That year his dad finished
second just behind Quique and from that date Mario stop
competition and devoted all his experience to Quique and
support him till he got his own "wings". At that
year Quique set a world record not broken yet, to be the
youngest pilot ever to compete in a F3A world championship,
that was back in South Africa 1979. From that year is when
start his international career and compete in hundreds of
competition, from nationals, continentals, world championships,
TOC. |

Since he started to fly Quique always search for new things,
new maneuver and that has being always his biggest goal.
Back in 1985 when he first showed to the world the rolling
vertical maneuver, such rolling loop, eight, etc. shocked
the world. The biggest accomplishment of his career probably
is to be the creator of now known as the 3D aerobatic. Since
his first TOC 1990 most of time he competed at TOC he introduced
to the world a new maneuver that just amazed everyone, and
slowly over the years converted the flying style of the
four minutes free routines at TOC, showing the world the
best way to fly winner free style aerobatic, he was building
through those new maneuvers not less than the 3D aerobatic.
As result of this Quique has been writing articles and having
