    Item Description:

War weary giant 96 wingspan Lazy Ace for sale.

Here's a video I made of my Lazy Ace in flight:
    https://vimeo.com/223307201

    Too big to ship.

    Magnificent flyer.

Been sitting up for a while.
Should be gone over by an experienced builder/flyer before it is flown.
Could stand a recovering job, although the crowd won't notice imperfections
during a flyby from 50 ft away.

This biplane is an impressive presence during a low and slow fly-by.

It is not a Pitts type biplane for snap rolls and high speed pull-outs.

$1800 OBO including engine. $1400 OBO without engine.
Servos are included, but should probably be replaced.
Does not include RX or TX.

WHY IT'S CRITICAL FOR BUYERS TO USE THE "MAKE OFFER" FORM VS. EMAIL

    Hi Bipelover49,

I haven't weighed it in a while, but my recollection is that it was in the 26-28 pound range. If it's important to you, let me know and I'll try to weigh it again.

I'm told the engine is either a 4.2 or 4.6 Sachs based mainly on the orange casing. I've been using a 22/6-10 prop.

I don't have experience shipping anything this large.
I want to sell it in person so the buyer will see what they are getting
    before they buy.

Let me know if you need the actual weight.

    Steve

Total weight showed 30.5 lbs, including the magneto engine which probably weighs about 5 lbs.

Reading up on the Sachs engines, looks like common sizes were 3.7 cu in (60cc) and 4.2 cu in (69 cc). Been using a 22/6-10 prop, if that's any help.

Interesting history of what was called the Cadillac of RC gas engines, back in the day.

Hi, been away but thx for the info. I have a saito FA450 radial in my 84" lazy ace at 26lbs. Your info was very helpful for my setup. Too bad we're so far apart, would love to buy it.
