Half scale Fokker DR-1. Scratch built using Glenn Torrance plans and hardware. The fuselage is built using ½ inch carbon fiber tubing and West System epoxy. The air frame is wire braced with adjustable turn buckles. The wings are built from ply wood just like the real thing. But Just a bit stronger. The engine is a ZDZ 250 with standard drop mufflers and is swinging a mejzlick 34x12 prop. That set up will go just about vertical. A smoke system is also installed. Electronics are Spectrum with SAVOX and High-tech servos. The top wing has its own receiver system eliminating the need to run wires from the fuse to the top wing. Covering is Solartex with Valspar paint. Her total flying weight is 115 lbs. She will get off the ground in about 20 feet if you let it. Lots of power and lots of lift. As you can see she is very detailed inside and out. This is a top Gun candidate. Last year I messed up and forgot to turn on the top wing causing her to go into the woods. Due to her construction, the only things that had to be replaced were the three wings and the cowl. No repairs, if it was damaged it was replaced with new. I went through the airplane completely and she is truly better than before. I just like to be up front about things. I am selling because I am getting out of the hobby. I want the airplane to go to someone who will take care of it and more importantly enjoy it whether its flying or just sitting there. Comes with radio and all support gear. All you will need to do is add fuel and fly.
Yes it is a lot of money but it is a lot of airplane too Serious inquiries only If you are interested, let me know.
